The Hunger Games (2012)

Hunger Games is neither bad nor good, it inspires neither hatred nor wonder. It's so mediocre along every conceivable scale of value that I wonder why anyone wanted to make a movie like it at all.

With both dull characters and dull actors, an extremely tacky general aesthetic and majorly un-innovative storyline, I continue to be deeply amazed at the extent of its popularity.

Yes, it's an alright film. No, it's not great. Yeah, it's watchable. No, I don't recommend you actually watch it.
