In this thread, we talk about the flaws of PHP and how they should be fixed.

You know, the syntax is flawed, the magic quotes, compatibility problems and the error_reporting.

PHP is Pretty Hopeless PHP.

I think PHP will be better if it rips off JavaScript (or Python, or Ruby, ......).

It keeps getting worse, really. It's usable, but I think that it's frankly easier to improve world politics.

PHP actually stands for PHP: PHP PHP. Triple recursive acronym, approaches infinity at three times the speed. Or simply, it's fscking annoying.

PHP uses Zend Engine. The licensing and the capabilities of Zend are breaking PHP.
