When I was browsing all the Mozilla projects, I found one called Songbird, and it's quite a good idea.
It's an open-source music player, which has A LOT of useful add-ons, which really make it worth while. Firstly, there's an add-on which allows you to sync your iPod in Songbird, allowing you no need to have iTunes. Secondly, there's another add-on which allows automatically posts your track history on last.fm once you feed it your details. I know that Electron uses last.fm (I got the impression of a frequent user), and this would really come in handy. Even with myself, the iPod syncing is the main thing which has stopped me switching over to another media player. There's also a lot more add-ons available, and I think you should all at least try it. However, it's still in Beta and quite a few features are yet to be added, namely CD ripping/burning and video. http://getsongbird.com/ ______________________________ Lazurane |

Isn't it great to see someone posting here. I'm not really interesting but i'm posting anyway, just for the sake of posting and increasing my post count which may or may not be important but it is a duty of every true administrator to reply on every possible post there is. Be as it may, thank you for the information and, should I ever be in need of such a piece of software, I'll give this one a try, although it is my opinion there's no good piece of software, just exceptionaly good pieces of hardware. And even though some might disagree with the aforementioned statement, all who were ever involved in hardware and/or software development know it's true even though some of the people from the group sometimes create illusions and live in a delusion blaming it all down on hardware. Software is based on 0s and 1s. Hardware is made by the best blacksmiths in Japan. Now, think really hard and conclude for yourself that hardware is superior to software. Or, simpler, hardware works. Software does not. Except for Opera, the best internet browser there is.

Seems like the most promising and interesting piece of software I've come across so far. Innumerable thanks for sharing this!

Mozilla is too popular. All their projects seem to fare well. Like goggle. I use quintessential player. I hate Zen. Not really zen, but the people from Creative labs. Idiots put some übercraptastic piece of software managing shit, I can't even transfer music from my computer to the player. Why don't they all make mp3 players work like a usb - you plug it in, drag-and-drop the files you want and that's it. But nooooo, we have to complicate things. I can't even charge my player just because the software is faulty and I can't install it.
Hej, moja dusice, izbaci bubice iz svoje lepe software kolekcije. * * * Hej, na sveži virus miriše dan motherboard speaker peva na sav glas čekić njiše kućište, dodirnut ću ga kolenom to bih baš volela Tako neki pevaju. And why is no one replying to topics? |

I provoked a reaction. I don't know what that emoticon is supposed to represent so next time use proper language. I met Jean-Luc Picard today. He will be running marathon on Sunday.
