Well I hauled my comp off to some place where I could back up everything I've got and reinstall my os. I put XP on it again, since my parents will also be using it, and they would feel any other OS is crap (so much for Ubuntu 8.04, which I was itching to try out). Consequently, I haven't been online all week.
Now to expand on this. This Sunday, I'm traveling to Varaždin, a city in northern Croatia, where I will be starting my study of information technology. Since it's quite a distance away, I won't be coming home often except for a weekend every few weeks. I'm not certain how my schedule will look, or anything much else for that matter. The problem is, I'll be making the first trip without a computer of any kind, since I can't decide whether to buy a desktop pc or a laptop, so I figure I'll analyse the situation first and see what other people have opted for. I'm more pro-laptop oriented though. What will this mean? Well firstly, I won't be on chat at all for several weeks. Any internet activity will probably be limited and inconsistent. Not much more though. Since today and tomorrow will be pretty chaotic, while I attempt to organise myself and establish a collection of artifacts I'll be needing the next few weeks, I doubt I'll even check my email. So much for pathos. À tout à l'heure ! P.S. Kthar, don't reply by citing a random song just to increase your postcount. |

He's, in fact, full of bodily waste as he has flat-rate with 4MB connection and can, in the literary sense of the words, download the internets (notice the plural). However, it seems he'll be lacking time to make greater improvements on the site since he's got organsation as a subject and the manual for the subject has 700+ pages. Pleasant reading, I bid thee. And be there on Ri kon. Cheers!
P.S. If life ever gets you down, remember Florence Jenkins and her obstinance. Maybe she couldn't sing, but she was paid some pretty penny for it. |
