I'm wondering how I can Web 2.0ify turled.com further. So far, it's pretty bland. Anyone want to lend a hand with some design ideas for it?

Lol, you misspelled your own site xD
I may have some ideas on the design, but I'll wait until I get back to my desktop PC before I try anything. Note: I may not have posted something incredibly useful, but I felt compelled to post something just so you don't feel ignored (I do watch the forums) and also because this is the first post I was able to understand without utilising Google translator. |

I think Electorn was telling me something about this. Or something similar. about some Opera widget. Does this have anything to do with that?

Nope, though it does have something to do with Twitter too.
And Navarr, I apologise that there is no one else here to give his or her opinion... :( |

There is, but they are active, really. Most of them didn't even introduce themselves.
But hey, who am I to tell people |

Who the f*** cares for something not beijing compatible with IE!? IE is made to ensure that people's windows crash often enough that their hardware starts malfunctioning. It's a part of, what I call, The great anti-Hardware conspiracy led by Software. People often blame hardware, but it isn't true. I, beijing the hardware configuration man, can tell you that it's always the software. Always.

Not being a web developer yourself, you can't fully understand just how much we would love to ignore it. We have to care about IE compatibility issues sooner or later.

Really? People using IE 6 are currently and forever will be denied access to my site(s).
Idea: Next time I create a form or something, I'm going to implement a 'moron' deterrent test, and ask the user which browser they use. If they say IE, they script won't process. ______________________________ Lazurane |

I agree, and that works well for your own site, but if you're making a website for someone, and that person is paying you, you're usually pressured into it.
In general, unless someone is paying me to combat those compatibility issues -- at which point guess I am required to create something that renders readably -- I don't invest any effort in even checking whether the finished layout renders in IE, let alone go out of my way to introduce cumbersome fixes for IE's many rendering bugs. |

I agree with that. I think if I have to make a site for someone, I'm going to use Fireworks, which now has some CSS export and it works in all browsers, even IE.
